This week we wanted to post about one of our recent projects. This particular client was based in Beoley, Reddich. The customer wanted to create a French door opening where there currently stood a bow window.
The width of the opening was to remain as it was however there was some brick removal to be done to allow the opening to receive the French doors, and side screen the customer had opted for. Bartley Glass and Windows took care of it all. We also made good inside with some interior plasterwork where necessary.
The customer chose a Rosewood finish on the exterior face and white for the interior, which sat in line with their existing window style. The chrome plated door furniture finished off the doors beautifully.
We have included a series of images from the project below, showing the various stages from us arriving on site to a bow window, and leaving site with French doors and side screen fitted and ready to be enjoyed.
The client was delighted with the finished result and is no doubt enjoying it immensely in this glorious summer weather we’re having in Birmingham currently. Long may it continue and those doors be thrown wide open!
If you have a glazing project that you would like advise on, we’d love to hear from you. Perhaps you’re looking for a straight swap to upgrade existing windows or doors… or like the above want to alter openings to allow for a different size or shape glazed product. We can help.
